Robert is co-creator of Maspeth Squash with Jeff Anschlowar. He first played squash at Amherst College 50 years ago, after growing up with public tennis in Westbury, LI, NY. For a couple of years in the late '70s during a growth spurt in NYC public squash, he was a hardball pro at Park Avenue Squash. With an MBA from Columbia University, Robert pursued an international career in advertising, carrying his squash racquet everywhere for work and pleasure. Jeff and Robert played squash indoors for 15 years before acting on their dreams to build an open-air squash court in Jeff's company backyard.
