British Junior Open Squash 2025 set for Birmingham once again

The world’s very best junior squash players will converge on Birmingham at the turn of the year when the British Junior Open returns from January 2-6.

With over 700 players from 50 different countries set to compete across ten different categories, next year’s edition of the world’s most prestigious junior squash tournament will be the biggest to date.

Supported by headline sponsor Dunlop and event sponsor Aston and Fincher, the flagship junior event will again be staged at University of Birmingham Sport and Fitness, Edgbaston Priory Club, Solihull Arden Club, and West Warwickshire Sports Complex.

A fifth venue, Sutton Coldfield Squash Club, will be added for the 2025 edition to facilitate the continued expansion of the competition and ease congestion in the schedule, creating a heightened experience for players.

England Squash CEO Mark Williams said: “We’re excited to announce the dates for the British Junior Open 2025 and are looking forward to welcoming back the world’s leading junior players who will be competing to add their names to the most coveted titles in junior squash.”

Event Director Mike Edwards said: “It’s fantastic to be able to announce the return of the British Junior Open for January 2025. With Sutton Coldfield joining us as our fifth host venue, next year’s event promises to be bigger than ever. “I’m looking forward to seeing all of the junior talent on show and helping create a memorable event for everyone involved.”

Entries for the 2025 British Junior Open will open in August 2024. Keep an eye on the official website for more information and future announcement.
