The British Open will return to Birmingham next year after a June date was set for The Rep Theatre.
The 2024 event will be staged between June 2-9 as World No.1s Ali Farag and Nour El Sherbini defend their titles. It was the first time the sport made its return to Birmingham since 2001.

In May, Squash Mad had reported that the British Open, the sport’s oldest event, would be staged in Birmingham again next year as part of the PSA and Rep deal.
The venue made for a perfect debut, with the tiered-seating, proximity of stage to seats, acoustics and 825-capacity.
The PSA hinted that it was looking to host every round at the Rep for 2024.
However it is anticipated that the early rounds will be played at the Edgbaston Priory Club, with the quarters, semis and finals staged at The Rep.
