Canary Wharf: Ernst, Young and Marshall



Financial firm Ernst & Young fielded ex-World No.2, Peter Marshall, to overcome banking giant Barclays Capital, and reach the Semi-Final of the ISS Canary Wharf and Square Mile Corporate Challenge last week.

The event has grown in size and prestige over the 8 years since it was introduced as an addition to the premier London tournament and then subsequently merged with the long running Square Mile Squash Competition which was inaugurated in 1983.

City workers representing companies from a range of industry sectors have been battling it out for the a place in the grand final, which takes place on the spectacular glass show court, during the week of the PSA World Tour event, March 21 – 25.

Ernst & Young will now face accountancy powerhouse PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Semi-Final round, joining Credit Suisse and FSA to make up the final four in the competition with the Grand Final to place on Friday 25th March 2011.
