Squash fans will be racing for their phones and laptops as tickets go on general sale at 10am today (Friday) for the 2019 Citigold Wealth Management Canary Wharf Squash Classic, which will take place between March 10-15 next year.

London’s favourite tournament has sold out every ticket, every day for the past seven years and next year’s event is on course to be another sell-out.

Tournament Director Tim Garner revealed: “We sold 650 tickets in the first 90 minutes of pre-sales to priority spectators on Wednesday so demand is obviously as high as ever!”

World champion Mohamed ElShorbagy won this year’s 15th anniversary edition of the tournament, beating fellow Egyptian Tarek Momen in a thrilling final, and the world’s leading stars are once again lined up to provide some explosive action in this PSA World Tour Gold event.

Action takes place on the all-glass court inside the imposing East Wintergarden venue, and there will be a bonus for fans with an extra day’s play there on Sunday March 10th.

The new PSA tour structure, which came into effect on August 1, means there will no longer be a qualifying competition, with the draw size increasing from 16 players to 24.

Tickets are available for purchase via Ticketmaster

All of the action will be broadcast live on SQUASHTV (Rest of World), Eurosport Player (Europe only), while action from the semi-finals will be shown by major broadcasters around the world, such as BT Sport, beIN Sports, Fox Sports Australia and Astro.
