Corporate companies will soon be challenging each other on the squash court instead of the boardroom or the trading floor as the Citigold Wealth Management Corporate Squash Challenge gets under way in London.
A bumper field has entered the Citigold Wealth Management Corporate Squash Challenge, with 28 teams vying to reach the finals that will take place on the all-glass court in London’s East Wintergarden during the 2019 Citigold Wealth Management Canary Wharf Squash Classic.
Top seeds and favourites to reach the Grand Final on Friday March 15 are Aviva Investors led by former World No.150 Neil Cordell. They will face a stiff test from 3/4 seeds PriceWaterhouseCoopers and BT. However, the biggest challenge is likely to come from No.2 seeds Ernst Young, who boast former world No.2 Peter Marshall in their line-up.
Another former professional to grace the competition is ex-world No.5 Peter Barker, who will be hoping to help his Tradition side have a successful run in one of the knock-out competitions.
The official title partner of the Citigold Wealth Management Canary Wharf Classic has entered four teams from various areas of the Citi business for the first time in over 15 years.
They, along with the other competitors, will be hoping to make an appearance on the all-glass court in March having worked their way through the knock-out matches that will happen between now and then.
“Citigold Wealth Management is pleased to be the exclusive title sponsor of the 2019 Squash Classic. We are also excited to be participating in the Corporate Challenge this year, especially given it will take place on our home turf in Canary Wharf,” said Citigold Wealth Management Head of Segments and Client Experience Corinne Feghali.
