Job advert: ESR recruiting new Head of Coach and Performance
England Squash & Racketball are seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to Head the Coaching & Performance Department and lead our vision to establish a world leading coaching and performance system for the development and performance of both coaches and players, whilst continuing to produce world class teams that will cement England’s position as the world number one squash playing nation.
The Coaching & Performance Department has a clear, performance brand, which guides us in our approach to our coaching and performance strategy, as well as within our day-to-day operations.

This is an exciting and important strategic post heading and further developing an established world leading programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a successful and sustainable talent and high performance system.
Leading a department that delivers a significant increase to the junior talent pool and the performance levels of players moving through the pathway and into the senior programme, whilst also developing an infrastructure that provides alternative opportunities that retain players within the sport.
They will also be responsible for setting, delivering and achieving the targets, aims and objectives of the Talent Pathway, Coaching and High Performance plans supported through Sport England investment. We are seeking candidates with outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability and experience to lead people, manage change and who can demonstrate innovative thinking.
