Number six seed Peter Barker is out of the North American Open, which starts on Monday at the Westwood Club in Richmond, Virginia.
His pl;ace in the main draw is taken by fellow Englishman Chris Ryder, our very own Kent Open champion, who was the highest-ranked player in the qualifying competition.
Qualifying starts today (Saturday) at the Country Club of Virginia before moving to the Westwood Club for the finals on Sunday.
