PSA media man Nathan Clarke has been busy during the lockdown producing a glorious book of photographs to raise money for professional players who are suffering financial hardship.

Nathan,  Content and Features Producer for the PSA, has collated some of his favourite images from major tournaments all over the world to produce the book, called Behind The Glass, to raise funds for the PSA Foundation’s We Are One campaign.

The book is now available online (see link below) and Nathan is hoping squash fans the world over will rally round to support this excellent cause.

He explained: “Basically, during the Covid-enforced lockdown I started to think of how I could do my bit to try and help out the players on tour.

“I’ve been in the game for quite a few years now and like to think many of the players are friends, not just colleagues so to speak.

“I spend my time at events pestering them for interviews and loads more for SquashTV.

“And then the rest of my time I’m photographing them in all areas of the venue, so it made sense to me to make a book of my work to celebrate them and give back all proceeds to the Foundation’s fund at the same time. It’s my way of trying to help and say thanks.”

Nathan is developing a growing reputation for his camera skills. As well as the book, he produced an imaginative look behind the scenes during the St. James’s Place Canary Wharf Classic in London in March, the final men’s tournament to be completed before the coronavirus lockdown shut down the PSA World Tour for six months.

The finished product is a superb film on the PSA YouTube channel called Another Angle

The publication of Nathan’s book follows the launch of a World Squash Day T-shirt range by 305 Squash to raise extra funds for the We Are One campaign. Details here
