Egyptian national and world No. 14 Mohamed Zakaria has inked a five-year sponsorship agreement with a Pakistani food manufacturer in efforts to revive professional squash in the country.
The signing ceremony took place at the Creek Club Squash Courts in Karachi, where Zakaria, 18 in September, was welcomed as the newest face of Pakistani squash under the Rich’s Venus banner.

The deal signals a growing collaboration between international talent and Pakistan’s squash revival efforts.
President of the Sindh Squash Association, Adnan Asad, hailed the partnership as a turning point. “We are honoured to welcome Zakaria into the Rich’s Venus Pakistan family,” he said.
“He is an explosive talent and a role model for the next generation of Pakistani squash players.”
Jahangir Khan presented Zakaria with an autographed racket.
Speaking at the event, Zakaria expressed gratitude for the opportunity and recognition. “It’s a special moment for me to sign with Rich’s Venus Pakistan. I’m grateful to Mr. Adnan Asad and the people of Karachi for the love and respect I’ve received. To be recognised by Jahangir Khan, the greatest squash player of all time, is truly humbling,” he said.
Zakaria will now represent Rich’s Venus Pakistan in international tournaments.
