Mike Harris and Amber Marshall will aim to retain their stranglehold on the National Racketball men’s and women’s titles this weekend.
As top seeds, Devon’s Harris is looking for his sixth successive title, Hertfordshire’s Marshall her third at Edgbaston Priory Club, Birmingham.
Over 160 players will be in action from aged 12 to 85 in the Karakal UK-sponsored event, with the Over 70s and above categories very well subscribed.
Organiser Mike Harris said: “It is a real testament to how accessible the sport is for all age groups and we would love to build on this success and encourage more players to compete in our One Day Series events and the British Open Championships that run across the year.
“There is always a really sociable and open atmosphere at EPC across the weekend, definitely part of the reason why so many of our players love playing the event.
“We really appreciate EPC for hosting us once more, it’s a brilliant club.”
The event will be live streamed on one or two of the courts with EPC’s help so tune in on Facebook to watch the action.
