Squash at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics will be staged at night and over a prolonged 10 days of action.
LA2028 organisers have released the competition schedule for all competing sports, with squash set to make its debut at Universal City Squash Center in the Universal City Zone.
Squash will be the smallest outright sport at Los Angeles 2028 after the International Olympic Committee confirmed just 16-strong singles draws for men and women in the official programme ahead of its first Games.
And with the one session per day schedule, it is unlikely to be a straight knock-out competition.
The squash format has yet to be revealed for the Games.
Four groups of four is one likely structure with each pool winner advancing to the semi-finals.
There will be eight nights of action, starting at 7:30pm, before the men’s and women’s medal matches on two consecutive evenings.
