Squash star Alison Waters and national high performance coach Paul Carter are supporting a new initiative for women’s squash in London.
A women’s tournament is being held at Finsbury Leisure Centre on July 5 for players of all ages and abilities, with tips from Waters and Carter on squash technique, plus a coaching demonstration.
Organisers are hoping to make this a quarterly ladies’ event, with each event being supported by a squash pro who will take part in a Q+A session, play three-quarter games and maybe even an exhibition match.Entry fee is £20, which includes tournament entry, tournament T-shirt and entry to the awards presentation buffet.

9 am: Registration
10-12 am: Demonstrations by Alison Waters and Paul Carter
12 – 4 pm: Tournament Matches
4.30 pm: Presentations with buffet
