Camille cashes in at Monte Carlo

French star Camille Serme hit the jackpot in Monte Carlo beating world number two Laura Massaro to the top prize in the Principality classic.

The 24 year old  French national champion came through an epic lung-busting  second game lasting a punishing 27 minutes winning it 17-15.

That put her two ahead but it also sparked a Massaro fightback as the two traded blow for blow. The top seeded English woman took the third but Serme held her nerve and the fourth to win in 84 minutes.

Afterwards, Laura Tweeted:”Unfortunately lost tonight in a close 3-1 battle against Camille. Plenty to learn and move on as always!”
