The lights literally went out on the last day in Bratislava. But unfortunately it was a short circuit causing the lights on the glass court to go out before the final matches. After some hectic work games started but with some delay.

First on today were the men and the day started with a surprise. German Raphael Kandra showed great determination and some spectacular dives and battled to win the bronze medal against higher seeded Greg Marche.

The womens bronze went to Coline Aumard who beat young Belgian Nele Gilis.

The final was a repeat of last year. In spite of a good performance by Line Hansen the title went to Camille Serme again, making four EICC titles in total.

Seven times EICC champion Gred Gaultier was of course the favourite in his final, but Borja Golan was not prepared to give up easily. The Spaniard managed to take the second game but finally Greg secured his eight title in four games.

And then the lights finally went out for this year in Bratislava.
