French world number one has revenge on his mind in Manchester

World No.1 Gregory Gaultier will compete in December’s AJ Bell British Grand Prix Squash Championship to be held in Manchester, England.
The top-ranked Frenchman, competing in Manchester for the first time since losing to Nick Matthew in last year’s spectacular final of the AJ Bell World Squash Championship, will be looking for revenge over his English rival having taken the World No.1 ranking from him in April and defeating him the following month in the final of the Allam British Open.
The AJ Bell British Squash Grand Prix – Manchester 2014 promises to be one of the most eagerly contested championships on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour.
“Greg is one of the game’s most exciting players, who attracts crowds wherever he plays and we are delighted that he has confirmed his entry for this year’s championship,” said internationalSPORTgroup Chief Executive Officer Paul Walters.
The PSA International 70 tournament, a pioneering partnership between Manchester City Council, leading investment platform and stockbroker AJ Bell, and event promoters internationalSPORTgroup, will be staged from the 5th to 8th December at Manchester’s National Squash Centre at Sportcity.
Tickets for the AJ Bell British Squash Grand Prix – Manchester 2014 can now be booked online at www.isportstore.com or by telephone on 0844 8797 949.
