Big boots to fill as Jonathan and Jaclyn Kemp head to Qatar
Ipswich Squash Club is looking for a new Head Coach after Jonathan Kemp chose to take up a new appointment in Qatar with his wife Jaclyn.
Kemp recently retired from the PSA Tour and in his final tournament he reclaimed the Kent Open title, beating Australia’s Steve Finitsis in a hugely entertaining final at The Mote Squash Club in Maidstone.
Whoever takes over faces a tough act to follow.The club’s advertisement reads:
Ipswich Sports Club is looking for an outstanding Head Squash Coach who is well organised, can show loads of initiative, is well motivated and can get on supremely well with people from all walks of life.
You will act as an ambassador for the Club and will assist in organising and promoting squash events for the members.
The role requires management and development of the established coaching programmes including the existing Junior, Schools and Adult programmes as well as promoting racketball to the members.
