Matthew motors ahead with new design for Duffield sponsor Felix Frixou

Three-time world squash champion Nick Matthew OBE unveiled the ‘Wolf’ Bentley Titan on Friday in Derby with long-time sponsor Benz Bavarian.
World No.2 Matthew, who last year won gold and silver at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and whose on-court persona is the ‘Wolf’, teamed up with Benz Bavarian’s Managing Director Feliz Frixou to create a unique car as part of Benz Bavarian’s bodykit Project Titan.
Matthew said: “I have had a close relationship with Felix over the past decade. He is one of my closest friends as well as being a long time sponsor and team manager for the Duffield Premier Squash League team.
“The Wolf edition of Benz Bavarian’s Project Titan has been Felix’s idea to merge his new design concept with my nickname on the PSA World Tour.
“It’s certainly a great feeling to have such a car designed in my honour and its certainly proving a popular idea so far; Wolf1 has already been sold! Hopefully there will be more orders to come.”
Auto specialist Benz Bavarian, based in Derbyshire, is a long-time supporter of squash via its sponsorship of the Premier Squash League team Benz Bavarian Duffield which Matthew plays for, as well as Nick Matthew individually.
Felix Frixou, Managing Director of Benz Bavarian, said: “We are very proud to have supported Nick for over 10 years and the ‘Wolf Bentley Titan’ is a fitting tribute. We wanted to honour Nick’s achievements in a unique way and we certainly think this ‘Wolf Bentley Titan’ does that.”
