Malaysian Ivan Yuen picked up his second PSA World Tour title in his home town in less than a month when he beat Hong Kong’s Tsz Fung Yip in the final of the NSC SRAM Series No.2 at the Bukit Jalil National Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The top seed reached the climax of the PSA Challenger 5 squash event after seeing off third-seeded Jordanian Ahmad Al-Saraj in the semi-finals in four games.

Unseeded Tsz Fung Yip made his breakthrough in the second round when he removed Elvinn Keo, the No.4 seed from Malaysia.

The 20-year-old, ranked 170 in the world, went on to topple India’s No.8 seed Ravi Dixit in the semi-finals to reach the first Tour final of his career.

But Yuen, the World No.66 marking his seventh final appearance, was too strong for his Hong Kong opponent – winning 11-8, 6-11, 11-6, 11-6 in 33 minutes to record the fourth Tour title triumph of his career.
